The Clifton Opera House is located at 5 Clay Street, Clifton 45316. All shows have temporarily moved to the Clifton Presbyterian Church at 183 Jackson Street while the Opera House is closed for renovations. For a map and directions, scroll to the bottom of this page.

Lemongrass (Bluegrass)
Lemongrass is a Dayton band playing contemporary & traditional bluegrass. The band came together in 2021, combining family and friends into a five-piece bluegrass outfit. Founding members Chris Lemon (banjo, dobro, vocals), Matt Lemon (fiddle, guitar, vocals), Maura Lemon (bodhran, vocals) & Chip Pritchard (upright bass, vocals) were joined by Jeffrey Martin (guitar, vocals) in 2022. Chris & Matt are twins but only started playing bluegrass together in 2012, as part of the band North & South. Sadly, bandleader Joe Bowsman (mandolin, guitar, vocals) passed away in the early days of the COVID pandemic. Maura Lemon, married to Matt, brought her strong lead vocals and bodhran drumming to a new band formed thereafter. Chip Pritchard, whose son used to live next door to Matt & Maura, also joined, bringing years of bass experience in bands such as the Repeating Arms and vocal coaching at church. Jeffrey Martin came along after he and Chris met through a running group.
